At Dusk

A familiar sight in the Rockies--and by now, to you, as well--white-tail deer come out at dusk to feed, to tease every dog in the vicinity, and to cross the road as the proverbial deer in the headlights. Truth be told, I think of them as sauropods in the sense that their strength is in numbers, and that they don't strike me as particularly intelligent, graceful though they are.
