Last night's near-full Moon was as elusive as ever, emerging and disappearing behind all the fast-paced clouds as it moved up the horizon.

But, being up in the mountains, I've managed to capture a few images before it plunged us all into darkness only to reappear again later on, this time at the very center of the sky.

This is one of them.
