Purple, Violet, and Lilac

I was about to write some pretentious statement about the beauty of nature in the summer as seen through the macro lens, but I might as well tell the truth: if it's purple (lilac, violet--you get the idea), then I'll photograph it! I am allowed to just like a color without rhyme or reason! πŸ˜‰

Rainy Days, Rainy (Path)ways β˜”οΈ

Living in the north, I get quite affected by the lack of sunlight in autumn and winter, as my face is just bound to hit the keyboard from the seemingly sudden onset of fatigue. Morning Dew

I am a staunch night owl living the forced lifestyle of a lark. And yet, there are some inadvertent benefits to having your dog drag you out first thing in the morning--before you're even capable of fully opening your eyes, let alone functioning: rich dew on grass, for instance. And, as I'm blinded by its diamond-like quality, I'm forced to open my eyes after all, run back inside and grab my macro lens. This is the result. πŸ’¦πŸŒž
